How do I connect my App Store account?
Go to Settings → App Store Connect and click "+ Add Account". You will need your Issuer ID, Key ID, and the .p8 private key file generated in App Store Connect under "Users and Access".
Is my API key safe?
Yes. AppsAndScreens stores your .p8 private key content exclusively in the macOS Keychain using system-level encryption. It never leaves your device except to authenticate directly with Apple.
How does the AI metadata generation work?
AppsAndScreens uses on-device Apple Foundation Models. It processes your project attachments (PDFs, Markdown) locally to suggest titles, descriptions, and keywords without sending data to a cloud server.
What are "Project Attachments"?
You can attach PRDs, READMEs, or design documents to a project. These serve as context for the AI to understand your app's features and generate more accurate metadata.
Can I edit screenshots inside the app?
Yes. The built-in Screenshot Editor allows you to add backgrounds (solid, gradient, or image), text overlays, and device frames. All edits are non-destructive and stored locally.
Where are my screenshots stored?
Screenshots are stored on your local file system, by default in
~/Documents/AppsAndScreens. You can change this location in Settings → General.Does it support iPhone and iPad?
AppsAndScreens currently supports iPhone and iPad apps. Other platforms like Mac or Apple Vision Pro are not in the current scope.
